The price of the accommodation in the Viking Centre includes an hour-long sauna session, including time for dressing and washing up. So if you are staying in the Viking village for example for two nights, the accommodation includes sauna on both nights.
You can book the sauna either now or later. In any case, be sure to book in advance, and a suitable turn for yourself. It may not be possible to change your sauna time after booking.
There is a changing room, shower and toilet in the sauna building. The sauna has an electric heater. The sauna and dressing room are reserved for the users of the sauna, but the Viking village is also open to others. Please wear clothing outside.
There are seat covers and shower gel at the sauna. The Viking Centre has alcohol serving licence and drinks for the sauna can be bought from the cafe or the Chieftain's hall.
What to bring
- Towel. It is included in the price of the stay and you will find the towels in your accommodation.
- If you want, soap or shampoo. Preferably environmentally friendly.
