Would it be nice to stay overnight like in a big playhouse instead of a cabin in a camping site?

There is now the new Satukurki Cabin available nearby the B&B Kommee Kurki vacation house, and it provides capasity for 4 persons. You can rent this cabin for additional space for the house or as individual simple accommodation. Satukurki Cabin is available even for one night. The season is from May until autumn.

Satukurki Cabin is decorated playfully and it reminds you a bit of a fairytale woods. The cabin has about 20 m² of continious room space. In addition there is a covered terrace of about 2 x 4,5 metres. The cabin is located in the corner of the garden, next to the forest, and there is a campfire site with seating area in front of the cabin.

If you book the Satukurki Cabin as additional space for the vacation house of B&B Kommee Kurki, they accommodate even 10 persons altogether.

You can also bring a pet or two to this cabin for extra fee.

Kommee Kurki is part of Think Sustainably Programme of Visit Tampere, and as LGBTQ-friendly destination, we are a member of We Speak Gay -community.

Good basic equipment in the cabin

In Satukurki Cabin there are two 90 cm wide bunk beds with pillows and quilts, a fridge, coffee machine, water kettle, a hotplate, microwave oven, drinking water and two radiators. There is an outhouse/eco toilet with hand washing station and you can have a shower in the tiny carriage sauna. There is a campfire site with seating area in front of the cabin, and at the covered terrace there are also seats for relaxing outdoors.

Inside the cabin there are a dining table with chairs, some dishes and a couch. There are also books, playing cards and some board games.

You can rent the cabin without bed linen or if you don't want to bring those from home, you can rent those from us.

• Rent the Satukurki Cabin for 1-4 persons 69 €/night, excluding bed linen, including towels

• Bed linen 8 €/person

• Ask for a baby cot for one 0-2 year-old child. Available if not needed in the vacation house

• Ask for a baby highchair, there is one available

• Well-behaving pets are allowed, fee 10 €/pet, max 2 pets allowed

• Sauna shift of 1,5 hours in the carriage sauna availble, fee 30 €, including towels and some mineral water

• Firewood are included. Fire is not allowed during forest fire warning

• Smoking is only allowed at the campfire site or the terrace of the cabin. It is not allowed to smoke inside the cabin.

• Check-in after 3 pm, checkout time 11 am
