B&B Kommee Kurki provides you and your family a high quality holiday house accommodation with a natural touch. Our B&B is ideal for 1-6 persons.
B&B Kommee Kurki is located near several bird lakes in the countryside of Sastamala. In Sastamala there are several attractions for families with children, for hikers and for culture enthusiasts, read more in Visit Sastamala. The location in Pirkanmaa, the Tampere Region, is handy for different kinds of travelling routes: from Tampere it is 60 km, from Pori 80 km, from Turku 120 km and from Helsinki 190 km.
Kommee Kurki is part of Think Sustainably Programme of Visit Tampere, and as LGBTQ-friendly destination, we are a member of We Speak Gay -community.
Spacious rooms and well-equipped facilities
You have the whole house of 100 m² for you to enjoy at your own pace! There are bedroom, spacious living room, a well-equipped kitchen and a nice bathroom with an electric sauna in the house. At the porch you can cool down after the sauna or hang out with your entourage. There is an air-source heat pump for air conditioning and for additional heating.
In the bedroom there are two twin beds and in the living room there is a sofa bed with proper mattresses for two. There is also a sofa that can be used as an extra bed. For an other extra bed there is a normal extra bed of size 80 x 190 cm.
When you book the house for 5 people, there is space for writing in the basket, and please notify if you want the sofa or the normal extra bed for the 5th person.
In the kitchen there is one baby feeding chair.
Please note that the minimum stay is 2 nights. Check-in is after 3pm and check-out until 11am.
These prices don't include bed linen or towels. You can rent those here (with beds ready-made) for 10 €/person or bring yours.
Accessibility
B&B Kommee Kurki isn't really an accessible house, as there are 8 stairs to the front door. Inside the house it is, however, possible to use a walking aid. The doorsteps inside the house are low, excluding the bathroom doorstep which is a bit higher.
Pets allowed!
Well-behaving pets are welcome to stay here, too! Additional fee 10 €/pet. There are a mid-sized pet bed and two metallic bowls in the house. You can add the pet fee here or pay it onsite with card/exact change/MobilePay.
Taking your pet with you, you agree to
during being outdoors the pet is in a leash or acts elsewise child friendly
clean up after your pet inside and outside
pay the bill if the pet makes a real mess that needs to be fixed
inform us as soon as possible if something gets damaged

a travel cot for one 0-2 year-old child available
you can choose a normal or a flatter pillow
If you have anything to ask, we are easily reachable as our family lives in the house next door. The peace of our guests is very important for us, we make our best to give all the privacy that you wish for.
Book breakfast at least one day prior arrival. Self-catering breakfast costs 8,00 €/person (for adults and children over 7 years old) and 3,00 €/person (for 3-6 years old children).
We prefer to choose ecologically
sleeping pillows etc. have Öko-tex standard. Pets are not allowed in beds.
terry towels are Fair Trade and made of ecological cotton
washing detergents are biodegradable
coffee, tea and some of the breakfast are ecologically produced
we sort the trashes and ask our guests to do the same
Cancellation policy
If something comes up and your plans change, you can cancel your stay 14 days before arrival for free. If you cancel later, we charge 50 % of your booking. If you want to change the dates, we can do that without any charge 7 days before the original day of arrival depending on availability.
